Approximately two weeks following the records appointment, we will meet for a formal consultation appointment. This appointment is all discussion, and a child patient is not required to attend, although it is recommended.
Dr. Kasso will present all of his findings based in his initial clinical examination and the diagnostic records. He will discuss with you treatment options and recommendations based on your individual case and personal goals. The consultation will include an estimated treatment time, the treatment fee, payment arrangements, and answers to all of your questions.
If you choose to proceed following our consultation, we will schedule a short appointment to place separators, also called spacers, between the molars. The purpose of the separators is to spread the molars slightly apart so that we have room to place orthodontic bands on them at the next appointment. We will also finalize all of the starting paperwork at this appointment. Get ready, it's only about 1 more week until you get your braces on!
